These products may contain metal components or coatings that include trace amounts of listed chemicals such as lead or nickel compounds.

2. Metal Components & Hardware

  • Steel shells, backs, and metal inserts
  • Keychain hardware and accessories
  • Pins, clips, and fasteners

These items may contain trace levels of:

  • Nickel compounds
  • Lead
  • Other metals recognized under Proposition 65

3. Plastic & Polymer-Based Components

  • Acrylic or plastic backings
  • Mirror components
  • Certain accessory parts

These materials may contain substances such as:

  • Styrene
  • Other regulated chemical compounds

4. Film & Consumable Materials (Mylar & Related Products)

  • Protective Mylar film
  • Decorative or accent rings

These components may include trace exposure to:

  • Antimony compounds
  • Ethylbenzene

5. Specialty Accessories

  • Earring backs, tie tacks, and small metal accessories
  • Chain links, hooks, and split rings

These may contain:

  • Cobalt
  • Nickel
  • Other regulated metals

Important Clarification

  • The presence of a Proposition 65 warning does not mean a product is unsafe
  • These warnings are required under California law based on exposure thresholds, which are often significantly lower than levels considered harmful by federal safety standards
  • Many everyday consumer products—tools, electronics, jewelry, and more—carry similar warnings
